"Pediatric Emergent/Urgent and Ambulatory Care: The Pocket NP is the result of three decades of our experiences as emergency nurse practitioners (ENPs). We often found our pockets filled with scribbled notes that included tidbits of things "not to miss," important "tips to remember," and essential information to include in the history and physical documentation. Although we had many excellent medical reference textbooks, we identified the need for a quick reference guide that had an easy-to-use framework for the most commonly encountered problems seen in the emergency, medical screening, fast-track, and/or primary care settings"--
